Tier your monuments
Monuments are not a difficulty ladder you climb once. They are a rotation you run repeatedly, and the right one depends entirely on what you are missing.
Early
Small unmarked locations pay scrap reliably and rarely contest. Run them until you have a rifle-tier kit, not a second longer.
Mid
The middle tier is where most players lose their progress. Go with a plan, a route out, and never with everything you own.
The loop
Scrap in, kit out, monument, back to base, repeat. The moment you break the loop to chase a fight, you are gambling with the whole run.
